- To promote interfaith and multifaith dialogue and understanding;
- To provide information and resources on world religions to the community;
- To encourage all people of faith to collaborate on vital community programs, particularly those which provide support and advocacy for marginalized citizens or groups or foster the wellbeing of the community as a whole; and,
- To cooperate with other agencies and organizations to promote initiatives which contribute to the common good.

The Multifaith Action Society (MAS) is a British Columbia registered non-profit society and Canadian registered charity.

As well as publishing The Multifaith Calendar annually, MAS offers a wide variety of programs and events to encourage interreligious cooperation and understanding within and throughout the community. We also publicize events and news from external organizations and sources that we feel are in alignment with our organizational mandate.
